Extracorporal Blood Oxygenation & Ozonation (EBOO)

EBOO has long been known as an intelligent ozone therapy that removes blood from the body and runs it through a filter, in a closed-circuit system. Via the filtering mechanism, a mixture of oxygen and ozone is pumped in a cross-current fashion. Then the treated blood is returned to the body. The blood is essentially treated twice. Once with ozone and then with Ultraviolet (UV) light. EBOO hits the “sweet spot” with major autohemotherapy (MAH) where it is done at a low concentration but high dose. While not a new therapy, having been started in Malaysia over 20 years ago for the treatment of HIV and cardiovascular conditions, it wasn’t  on anyone’s radar until 2020, in the post-pandemic era, where it showed promise in the treatment of “Long COVID” symptoms and adverse drug reactions. EBOO is a superior IV ozone treatment in that it treats more blood by volume than any other ozone treatment on the market, while remaining gentle in its lower concentrations of ozone.

Average number of treatments for results: 1-3.

Prerequisites for receiving treatment:

  • One well-tolerated IV UVBI session.
  • Two compliant veins (one in each arm).
  • Within normal range lab values. See required lab work below.

Half session

Duration: 25 minutes

Dosage of O3 delivered: 75,000 mcg with 1 liter of blood treated.

Full session

Duration: 50 minutes

Dosage of O3 delivered: 150,000 mcg with 2 liters of blood treated.

What does O3 plus UV Light  Do?

  • Germacidal
  • Rheological
  • Immune Modulating
  • Analgesic effects
  • Supports detox systems/organs
  • Oxygenation effects
  • Inflammation reduction
  • Redox balancing
  • Optimization of pro-and anti-oxidant systems
  • Vasodilation-improved circulation
  • Increased cellular efficiency
  • Mitochondrial repair
  • ATP increase
  • Tissue Repair
  • Debris scavenger

Treatment Day:

  1. Dr. Daneals will obtain the starting vitals
  2. Blood glucose levels will then be checked to ensure glucose is at least 100 mg/dL at the start of session to avoid hypoglycemia.
  3. Blood will be pulled, and filtered through an upside-down dialysis filter to create more surface area for ozone gas to clean and oxygenate as many red blood cells as possible. The blood then runs through the UV lights, killing any pathogens that may be present and finally, the blood is returned.
  4. Post treatment vitals are obtained before leaving office
  5. Binders will be suggested post treatment to prevent Herxhemier reactions (i.e activated charcoal etc.)

It is a gentle ozone IV therapy that is well-tolerated, making it one of the most advanced and effective ways to receive a high dose of ozone and oxygen intravenously and experience the benefits of full spectrum UV light at the same time.

Dr. Jeannette Daneals has administered over 100 EBOO sessions just in the last year. You are in experienced hands. 🙏🏽

  • Leukemia
  • Pregnancy -First trimester only and medical -legal reasons
  • Photosensitivity
  • Sulfa drugs
  • Allergy to heparin

Side Effects:

One potential side effect of the treatment is Herxheimer reaction. This involves a brief worsening of symptoms or illness before improvement. As the enhanced immune system kills off an increased number of pathogens, those pathogens have to be released into the bloodstream for removal. Chances of a Herxheimer reaction may be mitigated by a gradual introduction of UBI with ozone. This can help to prevent overloading the patient’s body.

*Please be sure to have a well-rounded meal with fat and protein within a couple hours of treatment to avoid hypoglycemia during treatment. Blood glucose level should be appx 100 at the start of the EBOO session.

Blood Testing

Baseline testing required to receive any high dose IV ozone treatment:
