Dental Healthcare Professionals During the COVID-19 Global Pandemic
Consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by dental healthcare providers (DHPs) is shown to minimize the risks of exposure to SARS-CoV-2 in dental offices during the current global pandemic. As of today, there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 transmission or mortality associated with dental care for DHPs and their patients.

FDA Issues Recommendations Regarding Mercury-containing Dental Amalgam
On September 24th, 2020, after 187 years of use in the U.S., the FDA finally (partly) acknowledges the health risks of mercury-containing amalgam fillings. The FDA now joins the rest of the world’s scientific community and health organizations in questioning the use of mercury in dentistry.
